2025 Annual Art Fundraiser
The 2025 Annual Art Fundraiser for The ARTS at Marks Garage will be focused on fixing "The Eyes of Our Soul." As many of you have seen, we have suffered tremendous damage to our doors and windows and we are committed to seeing them repaired and/or replaced this year. After canceling last year's fundraiser, we could not complete the project. We are grateful to artist, Joshua Sylvia, who graciously donated his time and talent to paint this beautiful mural of a happy bunny over one of our boarded up windows to help us launch this year's "rolling" fundraiser, and help us turn a negative situation into a welcoming image of positivity.
This is a call to action, and we are in dire need of your help. On the corner of a busy intersection, we want to ensure that the public always has access to view the incredible works of art inside.
This year's fundraiser will be a little different. We will be collecting donations of art, collectibles, and keepsakes throughout the year. All proceeds from these sales will go towards the fund to fix the windows and doors, "The Eyes of Our Soul." We will begin receiving items on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. A portion of your donation may be tax deductible, so you will be provided with a letter documenting the value of your donation to submit to your tax professional. We know how valuable your time is, and we strive to embrace your strengths, educate you in areas of interest, and provide internship opportunities for college students also. From sitting the gallery and customer service, to more advanced skills such as art curation, website maintenance, or technical theatre, we appreciate all levels of experience, and invite you to join our growing family!
