CALL TO ARTISTS! Please fill out the information below to submit your entry for our Winter exhibit at The ARTS at Marks Garage. This exhibit runs December 5th to the 27th, 2025. Deadline for entry is Friday November 28th, 2025. Selected participants will be notified by Saturday, November 29th 2025.
Christmas can absolutely be Christmas, even if it ain't white. So this year we want to highlight both Hawai'i's natural, year round beauty as well as the beauty and hard work of the artists that live in paradise here with us. Whether it be your favorite landscapes, or just art that reminds you of home here, we are looking to have a diverse range of art to make up for our lack of seasons! We also would like to showcase any work that you worked on this year that describes or showcases your journey. The end of the year can often be a time for reflection and celebration of growth, so we want to see what you've been cooking up this year!
We are soliciting ORIGINAL 2D and 3D work for the main gallery: paintings, sculptures, photography and any other creative medium that captures our theme. There will also be a "pop-up" room for PRINTS and other NON-ORIGINAL pieces from artists selected for the exhibit.
There is a $75 entry fee, that is fully refundable after your art sales reach $500. You may submit up to 4 pieces for consideration and as many prints as is reasonable (If you have questions send an email or talk to one of our volunteers on drop off day). 30% of sales to be donated to The ARTS at Marks Garage to help fund future programming just like this.
Load-in: Tuesday, December 2nd, noon to 5 PM
Load-out: Tuesday, December 30th, noon to 5 PM
First Friday Opening Reception: December 5th, 5-8 PM
